The Coordinator of Wellness & Recreation works in the Division of Student Services and reports directly to the Coordinator of Student Activities, Wellness and Recreation. The incumbent is responsible for leading the campus wellness and recreation program and associated activities. The incumbent must commit a significant amount of time to the position during the hours conducive to student and employee participation. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to balance institutional traditions and integrity with the individual needs of the college community; understand the responsibility to act in accordance with guidelines set by the Family Education Right to Privacy Act ( FERPA ); and exhibit the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
The Coordinator of Wellness & Recreation must commit a significant amount of time to the position during the hours conducive to student participation in various programs and activities; therefore, the regular workweek is Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Occasionally, work may be required beyond 7 p.m. and on weekends, and regular hours may be adjusted to accommodate activities.
