The New Jersey Institute of Technology seeks a customer-focused, organized, and collaborative professional to serve as the Coordinator of Library engagement and Operations for the University Libraries.
Reporting to the Director of Library Operations, this position supports daily public service operations at the Robert W. Van Houten Library and helps maintain a welcoming, student-centered library environment. The Coordinator supports library events, outreach, student engagement, and communications that promote awareness and use of library spaces, services, and resources. The position coordinates programming, social media, promotional initiatives, and event logistics across the University Libraries.
Working collaboratively with library staff and campus partners, the Coordinator exercises independent judgment to support operational priorities and deliver engaging, high-quality programs and services. This is a full-time, 35-hour, on-site work schedule, typically Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend hours will be required based on library operations, events and the academic calendar.
