Job summary

The Arc Erie County NY in Williamsville, NY seeks a Director-level Coordinator of Behavior Services to oversee behavior supports across Residential, Education, Day Habilitation, Clinical, and Community programs. This role supervises Behavior Technicians and partners with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, compliant, person-centered services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavior Analysis, or related field.
• BCBA, NYS license in Mental Health Counseling, or OPWDD-qualified Level 1/2 BIS.
• Required continuing education and credential maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and Functional Behavioral Assessments.
• Develop and monitor behavior support plans.
• Provide staff training and consultation.
• Support interdisciplinary treatment teams.
• Oversee behavior services compliance and documentation.
• Assist with psychotropic medication review process.
• Serve as a clinical resource across programs.

$60,000 - $75,000 annually (based on experience), Exempt

Lead Behavioral Excellence Across Our Agency

We’re looking for a confident clinical leader to oversee and strengthen behavior services across our Residential, Education, Day Habilitation, Clinical, and Community programs. This role ensures high-quality, compliant, and person-centered behavior support services while supervising Behavior Technicians and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The Role at a Glance

In this role, you will:

What Makes You a Strong Candidate

Education and Credentials

• Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Behavior Analysis, or related clinical field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience developing and implementing behavior support plans
• Staff supervision and training experience
• Knowledge of OPWDD, DOH, CMS and SED regulations

Other Requirements

• Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical judgement
