Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit's Providence Southfield site is seeking a Medical Education Coordinator to support our physician residency program. You will help recruit residents, coordinate scheduling, and ensure smooth educational operations across the program.

You will assist residents, faculty, and applicants by coordinating interviews, rotations, and accreditation documentation, while maintaining records and supporting events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
• Medical Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident recruitment, including program offerings, applications, and interviews.
• Admin duties: schedule rotations, attend meetings, distribute minutes.
• Maintain personnel records, curriculum, and accreditation documents.
• Coordinate events, educational functions, and recruitment activities.
• Schedule and organize resident education sessions.

As the Medical Education Coordinator, you will play a vital role in organizing and coordinating activities for our physician residency program. You'll support residents, faculty, and prospective applicants by ensuring the smooth operation of recruitment, scheduling, and educational functions. What You Will Do

• Coordinate and organize the resident recruitment process, including communicating program offerings, screening applications, and arranging interviews.
• Perform administrative functions such as scheduling rotations, attending meetings, and distributing meeting minutes.
• Maintain personnel records, curriculum documentation, and accreditation documentation.
• Coordinate special events, educational functions, and recruitment events.
