Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite, requiring the successful candidate to report to Parma on a full-time basis.

The Role:

You will oversee a team of salaried maintenance Group Leaders, managing maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with GM systems. Responsibilities include checks, tests, preventative maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, and ensuring schedule and quality compliance.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

• Lead maintenance and repair of General Assembly equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Recommend solutions and meet schedule and quality standards.
• Participate in tool/equipment development, buyoff, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver a safe, integrated manufacturing system.
• Provide spare parts, maintenance, and continuous improvement strategies.
• Work with product and production teams on quality, warranty, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Lead in understanding manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and documentation.
• Support projects and strategic planning, including prototype and validation phases.
• Lead error proofing, preventative maintenance, ergonomic solutions, and KPC activities.
• Improve maintenance cycle metrics through TIP.
• Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Support business goals and act as Technical Shift Lead as needed.
• Implement GMS and train/develop employees.
• Supervise skilled trades and manage routine/reactive maintenance.
• Lead throughput improvement initiatives and team engagement in maintenance issue resolution.
