Job summary

CHEP Espana SA is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee order processing, route planning and delivery execution across a regional perimeter. You will collaborate with customer service, sales and supply chain teams to ensure on-time deliveries, optimal costs and high customer satisfaction in a hybrid work environment.

• Supply chain experience required.
• Knowledge of transport planning and tendering is an advantage.
• Minimum bachelors degree or equivalent by experience.
• 1-3 years business experience in a Supply Chain Management environment.
• Knowledge of CHEP, SAP, BlueYonder, Excel are a plus.
• Experience in an office environment with frequent customer and provider contacts.
• Experience in an environment with urgent requests and comfortable to manage those urgencies.
• Experience in an international office environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of order processing to ensure on-time deliveries to customers and monitor logistics performance.
• Manage dedicated fleets and transportation routes, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and minimizing disruptions.
• Serve as a key point of contact for customers, addressing queries, managing urgent requests, and resolving logistics-related issues in real-time.
• Support central teams in managing and resolving logistics-related incidents, ensuring minimal impact on service levels.
• Track performance metrics related to on-time deliveries, transport quality, and customer satisfaction. Proactively address any variances.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, optimize costs, and enhance service delivery through collaboration with internal teams and third-party providers.
• Collaborate with customer service, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of logistics activities with broader business goals.

Job Description

Responsible for executing all logistics activity for a given perimeter so CHEP provides a constant and efficient supply of equipment to its customers (Retailers and Manufacturers) at the right time, in the right manner and at the cheapest cost to serve to deliver high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities May Include

Other Key Accountabilities

• Daily Management of order processing.
• On Time Performance to Customers and transport quality tracking and monitoring.
• Supports Central in execution related incidents.
• Logistics Support for CHEP & External Managed Service Customers.
• Dedicated fleets management.
• Route Management.
• Contact with local customers and third-party provider (Service Centres, D locations, PT Call Centre) to deliver CHEP orders.
• Local level customer collaboration execution.
• Short term planning to resolve urgencies.

Qualifications/Experience

• Supply Chain experience.
• Knowledge of transport planning and tendering is an advantage.
• Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience.
• 1-3 years business experience in a Supply Chain Management environment.
• Knowledge of CHEP, BlueYonder, SAP, BlueJay, Excel are a plus.
• Experience in an office environment with frequent customer and provider contacts (emails, calls).
• Experience in an environment with urgent requests and comfortable to manage those urgencies.
• Experience in an international office environment is a plus.
