Job Summary

Distribution System Coordinators support various areas of distribution operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. They coordinate the work activities of distribution support specialists to efficiently meet production demands.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Experience Desired: 1-3 years, including 2+ years in a unionized distribution center environment; familiarity with distribution center system hardware and software preferred.
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or Licensing Required: None
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Travel Required: None
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Audit locations to ensure correct inventory data
• Assist Operations in monitoring voice selection systems
• Advise inventory manager on team member conduct and performance
• Assist in developing and training inventory team members, including cross-training
• Assist in cycle counting activities
• Meet or exceed customer requirements at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and inventory
• Assist in inventory control functions
• Ensure drop reselects are completed for load departures
• Assign tasks and oversee daily workload across departments
• Organize inventory storage and flow within the warehouse
• Coordinate loading and unloading of products
• Maintain flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary

• Oversee and perform all aspects of cigarette stamping machine operation
