What Customer Service Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Customer Service Management provides strategic oversight and leadership within the Customer Service function.

What Individualized Care contributes to Cardinal Health

Clinical Operations offers clinical support and expertise in advice, research, and patient care to internal and external stakeholders. Individualized Care plans and delivers care tailored to each patient’s specific needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a current understanding of patient therapies, prior approval, reimbursement processes, and healthcare plans.
  2. Handle complex therapy and reimbursement inquiries from customers, applying judgment within your authority.
  3. Meet key performance indicators such as service levels, call volumes, adherence, and quality standards.
  4. Follow up with patients, pharmacies, physicians, and support organizations regarding inquiries.
  5. Handle sensitive information with discretion, including prescriptions, personal data, and insurance details.
  6. Escalate complex issues to senior team members and leadership as needed.
Qualifications
  1. 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  2. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Expected Performance
  1. Apply acquired skills and company policies to routine tasks.
  2. Work on standard assignments with basic problem-solving.
  3. Seek guidance from policies and past practices.
  4. Receive general direction and detailed instructions on new tasks.
  5. Consult with supervisors on complex problems.
Training and Work Schedules

Training occurs from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST, with mandatory on-camera attendance. The position is full-time (40 hours/week), with flexible shifts during Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm CST.

Remote Work Details

This is a full-time remote position requiring a dedicated, quiet environment with high-speed internet. Equipment will be provided, but internet access is the employee's responsibility. Internet requirements include:

  • Download speed of 15 Mbps
  • Upload speed of 5 Mbps
  • Ping rate maximum of 30 ms
  • Hardwired connection
  • Surge protector for equipment
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly range: $18.50 - $25.80. Bonus eligibility: No. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, HSA, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, work-life resources, paid parental leave, and wellness programs.
