Job summary

North Memorial Health seeks an Imaging Resource Coordinator to ensure efficient operation of the Resource Center by managing access to imaging resources, retrieval and distribution of films and CDs, and electronic transmission for patient care decisions.

In this role you will also staff the reception desk, communicate with clinicians, enter radiology orders for Same Day Surgery, and locate imaging resources for trauma cases. On-site work, with a dayshift schedule.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative support experience.
  • Previous health care experience preferred.
  • Experience with medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage access to medical imaging resources and coordinate retrieval and distribution.
  • Serve as a reception point of contact for physicians and care teams.

About This Position

The Coordinator, Imaging Resource plays a critical role in supporting the efficient operation of the Resource Center by managing and facilitating access to medical imaging resources. This position ensures timely retrieval, distribution, and electronic transmission of imaging materials, including films and CDs, to support patient care and clinical decision-making. The coordinator also services as a key point of contact at the reception desk, handling communications with physicians and care teams, entering radiology orders for Same Day Surgery patients, and location imaging resources for incoming trauma cases.

Requirements
Education
  • High school graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED) required.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative support experience required.
  • Previous health care experience preferred.
  • Experience and familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
  • For Imaging Only: Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience with ERIP and/or PACS strongly preferred.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Licensure/Certification

  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Benefit Eligibility: Health insurance benefits are available for this position. North Memorial Health offers multiple health plans based on work group eligibility.
  • Salary Range: N13 ($22.20 - $33.31), based on experience
  • Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
  • Employment Sponsorship: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
