Job summary

North Memorial Health seeks a dedicated Coordinator, Imaging Resource to manage access to radiology resources, facilitate timely retrieval and distribution of imaging materials, and support clinical decision-making. You will act as a primary contact at the reception desk for physicians and care teams, entering orders and locating imaging for trauma cases.

The role requires strong administrative experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and proficiency with imaging systems (ERIP/PACS).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative support experience.
  • Healthcare experience preferred and familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Imaging-specific system knowledge (ERIP/PACS) is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage access to imaging resources and coordinate retrieval and distribution of imaging materials.
  • Serve as reception point of contact for physicians and care teams.
  • Enter radiology orders for Same Day Surgery patients and track imaging resources for trauma cases.
  • Maintain timely communication and ensure efficient patient care support.

About this position

The Coordinator, Imaging Resource plays a critical role in supporting the efficient operation of the Resource Center by managing and facilitating access to medical imaging resources. This position ensures timely retrieval, distribution, and electronic transmission of imaging materials, including films and CDs, to support patient care and clinical decision‑making. The coordinator also services as a key point of contact at the reception desk, handling communications with physicians and care teams, entering radiology orders for Same Day Surgery patients, and location imaging resources for incoming trauma cases.

Requirements
Education
  • High school graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED) required.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative support experience required.
  • Previous health care experience preferred.
  • Experience and familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
  • For Imaging Only: Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience with ERIP and/or PACS strongly preferred.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Salary Range:N13 ($22.20 - $33.31), based on experience

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
