Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking a Coordinator III, Training, Learning, Engagement, and Development to plan, deliver, and continuously improve professional development and onboarding programs at the CyFair campus. This role reports to the LED Center Director and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support training delivery and program evaluation.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of related experience, with strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent organizational and data reporting skills.
  • Ability to coordinate training sessions and onboarding programs.
  • Knowledge of compliance and documentation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains operational records and reporting data within the project management system; prepares relevant reports and presents findings to internal and external constituents.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of workflows, training materials, and learning resources for onboarding and professional development; collaborates on the coordination and delivery of training sessions for employees.
  • Maintains current knowledge of the assigned area and acts as a point of contact for internal and external customers.
  • Conducts needs assessments; reviews participation, relevant data, and feedback; and makes recommendations for continuous improvement of professional development programs.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable system, campus, and departmental processes, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Takes part in the development and implementation of new professional development programs and initiatives.
  • May supervise, train, and assist with the development of departmental staff.
  • Coordinates departmental scheduling and operational activities, including meetings, seminars, events, site preparation, marketing and training materials, and general support.
  • Provides basic troubleshooting assistance for software and technology used by individual learners.
  • Monitors resources such as office supplies and instructional equipment, and coordinates with the Director to make recommendations for future purchases.
  • Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

Job Description


PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The Coordinator III, Training, Learning, Engagement, and Development (LED) Center coordinates and supports the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of professional development and onboarding programs. This position is responsible for maintaining workflows, records, compliance processes, scheduling, and departmental operations related to learning and employee development initiatives. Reporting to the Director of the LED Center, this position collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support training delivery, learner needs, events and meetings, program evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts.



Essential Job Functions


  • Maintains operational records and reporting data within the project management system; prepares relevant reports and presents findings to internal and external constituents

Physical Abilities

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.



Work Schedule And Conditions


  • Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment

  • Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position

  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards

  • Work schedule may include evenings and weekends

Salary

Hiring salary range is $48,152 - $55,375


Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions.
