Priority Dispatch Corp. in Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated Programs Coordinator to conduct applicant interviews, assess needs, and develop individualized Housing and Care Plans. You will monitor progress, coordinate services, and manage a caseload of roughly 15–30 clients with ongoing client advocacy.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, at least 1 year in mental health or unhoused settings, and strong organization, confidentiality, and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year working in the mental health field and/or with the unhoused population.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.

Job Details

Job Location: OKC Administrative Office - Oklahoma City, OK 73102 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.60 Hourly

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interview and screen each applicant for admission into the program.
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop individualized Housing and Care Plans based on the participant's needs and goals, updating as needed.
  • Provide ongoing support, monitoring and coordination of services for each client.
  • Meet with clients on a weekly basis until stabilized, then as needed and according to plans.
  • Maintain ongoing progress and case notes on each participant.
  • Attend biweekly team meetings and report on status of clients served.
  • Link clients with resources for financial planning, public benefits, behavioral health, family counseling, medical and dental care, education and employment assistance, transportation and other basic needs as indicated.
  • Assist participants in accessing appropriate services, including but not limited to housing, OHFA vouchers, Medicaid, SNAP, SSI/SSDI, etc.
  • Transport or assist in navigating public transportation for identified participants.
  • Advocate for clients with other service providers.
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 15-30 clients at a time, as assigned by supervisor.
  • Participate in volunteer, fundraising, or community service opportunities requested by or benefiting the agency.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager or other supervisory or executive staff.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year working in the mental health field and/or with the unhoused population.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize client needs and plan services accordingly.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport clients from various backgrounds.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality requirements.
  • Possess the skills to intervene and de-escalate clients who are agitated, angry, or aggressive in an appropriate manner that minimizes or eliminates risk of harm to any person in the environment.
  • Must possess basic computer skills necessary to enter data and case notes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands
  • Work is partially performed in climate-controlled office setting where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is unlikely.
  • Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (printers, fax machine, phones, etc.)
  • Work is partially performed in the field, including homeless shelters and participants' personal apartments.
  • Daily local travel is required; must have reliable transportation.
  • Physical mobility and endurance to perform tasks while standing/walking for brief periods of time. Work may include climbing stairs, occasionally pushing, pulling, or carrying objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Work utilizes hearing and speech in order to converse clearly with staff and clients.
  • Ability to safely and properly use office equipment.
