The Coordinator, Government Affairs (Coordinator) will support the Government Affairs department with all general administrative needs. Primary support will be provided to the Senior VP, Government Affairs (SVP). The Coordinator will provide additional administrative support to the Government Affairs department staff on an as-needed basis with respect to departmental projects, events and meeting summaries and group scheduling.
Duties of the GA Coordinator include managing executive’s schedules and expense reports while tracking the team’s budget; assist planning, managing, and executing events while aiding on the technical side. This position will also produce and edit documents, draft correspondences, and perform public policy research as needed by the team.
Qualified candidates will have 3 to 5 years of experience working in a similar environment. Ideal candidates can uphold a professional demeanor and have strong interpersonal skills that work well with the GA team.
This position will manage multiple projects and deadlines while managing the Senior VP’s ever-changing schedule. This position is based in Washington, DC. ESA employees are in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and may work remotely Monday and Friday. The salary range for this position is 60K-70K per year, plus bonus and 100% employer paid medical and dental insurance.
