Mercer County Community College is seeking a Part-Time Coordinator II in Student Life and Leadership to support planning and implementation of engagement programs, orientation, and campus events. The Part-Time Coordinator II, Student Life and Leadership supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of student engagement programs, leadership initiatives, New Student Orientation, and campus events that promote student involvement, belonging, and success. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, student organizations, and campus partners, the Coordinator assists with leadership development, student programming, the Student Ambassador Program, and departmental operations while providing day-to-day supervision of work-study student employees. This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support student programs and College events.
Directly supervises 4-6 work-study student employees within the Student Life and Leadership Department by providing day-to-day direction, training, scheduling, and oversight of assigned work.
Please note this position is part-time with a maximum of 24 hours worked per week.
A flexible work schedule is required to support student programs, events, and College activities, which includes occasional evening and weekend hours.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions while supporting student programs, events, and campus activities. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
Positions in this class typically require: ability to use a key board, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
