Job Description

The Opportunity

The School District is seeking a highly organized, thoughtful, and resourceful professional to serve as Coordinator for District Administration and Compliance. Working closely with the Assistant to the Superintendent for District Administration, the Coordinator supports a broad portfolio of District responsibilities, including compliance, Board policy, investigations, school safety, equity, enrollment and residency, communications, and special projects.

This is a district-level role for someone who enjoys solving problems, organizing complex information, and helping important work move forward. On any given day, the Coordinator may be researching a policy or compliance question, preparing a report, responding to a family or staff concern, supporting an investigation, reviewing enrollment or residency information, coordinating a project across departments, or helping manage an emerging District issue.

Because the office handles some of the District’s most sensitive matters, the successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, can manage multiple priorities independently, is comfortable working with data and technology, and knows how to navigate challenging or sensitive situations with professionalism and objectivity.

The Coordinator will work with administrators, staff, students, families, attorneys, outside agencies, and community members and will play an important role in ensuring that District matters are well-organized, appropriately documented, effectively communicated, and followed through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support District initiatives involving compliance, policy, safety, equity, investigations, enrollment, residency, and other areas of District administration.
  • Research issues, gather and analyze information, and prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Receive and document complaints involving harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and other sensitive concerns and provide administrative support for investigations.
  • Coordinate registration, enrollment, and residency-related processes.
  • Respond to inquiries and concerns from families, staff, administrators, and community members and identify matters requiring administrative attention or escalation.
  • Maintain confidential student, personnel, compliance, and investigative records.
  • Coordinate projects, meetings, deadlines, communications, and follow-up involving multiple District departments.
  • Assist with departmental operations, including budgets, purchasing, data collection, records management, and special projects.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant to the Superintendent.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Five or more years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive matters.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in K-12 education, government, compliance, human resources, legal services, investigations, or another regulated environment preferred.
  • Legal education, paralegal or investigative experience, and/or experience with student information systems such as PowerSchool are a plus.
Terms of Employment

12-month Act 93 position. Compensation and benefits are established in accordance with District policies and applicable administrative compensation provisions.
