Job summary

Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas is seeking an Entertainment Coordinator to support Live Events operations. You will assist in multiple venues on entertainment nights, collaborate with Guest Services, manage rider/contract processes, and coordinate hotel room blocks for touring parties.

Your role includes handling ticketing payments, maintaining PCI-compliant cash handling, and resolving guest issues pre- and post-event. Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience; one (1) year in a hotel/gaming property preferred.
  • Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming license if required.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in multiple Palms Casino Resort venues as needed on entertainment nights; collaborates with Guest Services, Ushers, and VIP personnel to ensure events are successful.
  • Assists with ensuring rider requirements are met and contract processes are executed for Entertainers.
  • Work with Hotel Group Reservations, Hotel VIP Services, and Touring Parties to submit room blocks and finalize rooming lists.
  • Inspect VIP suites and prepare overnight arrival packages. Help connect Tour Managers to final folios after checkout.
  • Submit Ground Transportation requests when applicable.
  • Assist with collecting payments for ticketing needs and balance monies at shift end with leadership present, following PCI-compliant cash handling.
  • Resolve problems and respond to policy or procedural questions as needed; handle customer concerns before and during events.
  • Escalate guest issues as needed.
  • Assist with ticket holds, ticket counts, and processing promotional tickets.
  • Update weekly reports. Schedule meetings and walkthroughs.
  • Organize files and backup.
  • Enter payment requisitions, invoicing, vendor relations; track payments.
  • Respond to guest phone calls and emails. Field venue inquiries.
  • Audit property screens to ensure all shows are rotating properly.
  • Proof entertainment marketing assets.
  • Assist with front of house event set up.
  • Perform other job duties as requested.

Job description

Working closely with the Manager of Theater Operations and Box Office Manager, the Entertainment Coordinator will play an important role in operating Live Events.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Assists in multiple Palms Casino Resort venues as needed on entertainment nights; collaborates with Guest Services, Ushers, and VIP personnel to ensure events are successful.

  • Assists with ensuring rider requirements are met and contract processes are executed for Entertainers.

  • Must have strong problem-solving abilities, combined with a capacity to work independently, and make appropriate decisions without supervision.

  • Must be able to operate within a strict schedule, when necessary, and maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time and to react well under pressure.

  • Must be able to interact well with internal and external customers and work as a team member.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Physical Demands:
  • Work is performed in indoor and outdoor settings.

  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.

  • May be exposed to smoke.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
