Job summary

Sacbar is seeking a donor relations professional to support cultivation, stewardship, and fundraising efforts. You will manage donor communications, prepare acknowledgments, and coordinate logistics for events, ensuring accurate donor records and timely thank-you notes.

Working with internal teams and external partners, you will analyze giving patterns, assist with reports, and help develop materials for cultivation and solicitation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; emphasis in Business, Marketing, Sports Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional fundraising, donor relations, development, philanthropy, nonprofit administration, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication; ability to write professional correspondence independently.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to provide excellent donor and team service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; candid, clear, and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and manage emergent issues.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Windows software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
  • Ability to travel periodically as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage donor stewardship process including acknowledgement letters, thank you cards, donor appreciation gifts, and communications via phone and email.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Provide administrative support for events, auctions, partner activations, and general donations.
  • Maintain donor database: update records, data entry, and pulling reports.
  • Process incoming gifts and ensure gifts are recorded and thanked.
  • Analyze donor giving patterns to increase retention, contributions, and engagement.
  • Assist in developing materials for cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation.
  • Collaborate across LPGA departments to support Foundation programs.
  • Be knowledgeable and continually update colleagues on ongoing projects.
  • Handle other special projects as assigned.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This position will support the donor cultivation, stewardship, and fundraising efforts. This role includes managing donor communication, preparing gift acknowledgments, coordinating logistics for fundraising events, and maintaining donor records. The position works closely with internal teams and external partners to support the Foundation’s mission and growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Manage donor stewardship process including acknowledgement letters, thank you cards, donor appreciation gifts, and other communications via phone and email
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Provide administrative support for events, auctions, partner activations, and general donations
