NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the ED/ Critical Care Department. This full-time evening shift role involves coordinating care across disciplines to ensure continuity, education, and support for patients and families in a high-acuity environment in New York City.

Requirements include a BSN, NYS RN licensure, and at least 5 years of adult and pediatric experience. A Master’s in Nursing and ACUTE CARE expertise are preferred, with CN or preceptor experience

  • BSN required.
  • Current NYS RN Licensure.
  • At least 5 years of experience (Adult Ed and Peds).
  • Master's in Nursing preferred.
  • ACUTE CARE experience preferred.
  • CEN certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
  • Recent preceptor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for ensuring optimal continuity of care for patients and their families, facilitating collaboration among interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide support, coordination, and education of care across shifts and disciplines.
  • Engage in clinical assessments and follow-up, improving the patient experience at NYP.

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for ensuring optimal continuity of care for patients and their families. In this role, you will ensure support, coordination, and education of care by fostering collaboration among interdisciplinary teams. Play an integral part in the patient experience through clinical assessments and follow up for and work with closely with our support to the nurses .

This is a full time Evening shift position , working varied start and end times , 4 , 10 hour shifts per week

Preferred Criteria
  • Masters in Nursing
  • Prior experience in acute care.
  • CEN or willing ness to obtain in 1 year
  • Recent preceptor experience

$113,500-$158,500/Annual
