About the Role
The Coordinator, Career Readiness and Employer Partnerships is theprimary liaison between the College and the Norse Network Hub,connecting employers with faculty, staff, and students to expandcareer opportunities and strengthen employer partnerships.
This position coordinates employer engagement activities,communicates opportunities across the College, and supportsinitiatives that align academic programs with workforceneeds.
Key Responsibilities
Employer Engagement
- Serve as the College's primary contact for employer engagementactivities with the Norse Network Hub.
- Connect employers with appropriate faculty, programs, anddepartments.
- Identify and communicate employer partnership opportunitiesthat support student career development and experientiallearning.
Collaboration & Programming
- Coordinate employer events and engagement activities within theCollege, including information sessions, networking events,classroom presentations, and employer visits.
- Collaborate with faculty, Career Services, and Hub staff toexpand employer involvement in student learning and careerreadiness initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships among employers, faculty, andacademic leadership.
Communication & Reporting
- Attend regular Hub meetings and share employer engagementupdates.
- Track employer interactions and engagement activities usingdesignated university systems.
- Support continuous improvement by sharing best practices andidentifying opportunities to strengthen employer partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, andrelationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborateeffectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating programs, events, or partnershipinitiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education, employer relations, workforcedevelopment, career services, or community engagement.
- Familiarity with Handshake, TeamDynamix, or similar CRM/eventmanagement systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and networkingskills.
- Project and event coordination experience.
- Ability to work independently while building collaborativepartnerships.
- Commitment to student success and employer engagement.
