Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. seeks a Production Coordinator to join our on-site Duluth, MN facility. The role supports production supervisors, coordinates scheduling, and ensures timely delivery while liaising with purchasing and material handling teams.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Starting pay is $25 per hour, with potential additional compensation based on experience. A strong eye for detail and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists production supervisors in daily tasks.
• Schedules production jobs to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinates with supervisor and Material Handler on schedules.
• Monitors job status to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensures maintenance and engineering support for production demands.
• Monitors inventory levels of raw materials.

Job Location

This position will be on-site at the Duluth, MN facility, near Airpark blvd and Haines Road.

Work hours

Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM

Pay

$25/hr starting pay additional compensation may be added based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Assists production supervisors
• Assists planning with scheduling of production jobs to meet customer requirements
• Works closely with the supervisor and Material Handler in coordinating schedules
• Monitors production job status to ensure on time delivery
• Works closely with supervisor to ensure the areas have maintenance and engineering support as required to meet production demands
• Monitor inventory levels on raw materials needed in production
• Works closely with purchasing to ensure all items are available to meet production demands

Required Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Proficiency with Microsoft office applications and overall computer knowledge
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automated manufacturing or robotics equipment
• Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and high degree of initiative to resolve issues

Education & Experience

• No education required, but preferred
• Ability to meet Vishay’s attendance policy (2% absenteeism rate or less annually)
• Ability to do repetitive tasks that require the use of various defined procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently while maintaining a good working relationship with co workers & supervisors
• Manufacturing or systems experience preferred
