Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and overall computer knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automated manufacturing or robotics equipment.
• Independent action and initiative to resolve issues on complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assists production supervisors.
• Assists planning with scheduling of production jobs to meet customer requirements.
• Works closely with the supervisor and Material Handler in coordinating schedules.
• Monitors production job status to ensure on time delivery.
• Works closely with supervisor to ensure the areas have maintenance and engineering support as required to meet production demands.
• Monitor inventory levels on raw materials needed in production.
• Works closely with purchasing to ensure all items are available to meet production demands.

Job Location

This position will be on-site at the Duluth, MN facility, near Airpark blvd and Haines Road.

Work hours

Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM

Pay

$25/hr starting pay additional compensation may be added based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Assists production supervisors
• Assists planning with scheduling of production jobs to meet customer requirements

• Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and high degree of initiative to resolve issues

Education & Experience

• No education required, but preferred
• Ability to meet Vishay’s attendance policy (2% absenteeism rate or less annually)
• Ability to do repetitive tasks that require the use of various defined procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently while maintaining a good working relationship with co workers & supervisors
• Manufacturing or systems experience preferred
