The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The Coordinator is part of a team of professional staff who provide administrative and programmatic support to Law School faculty and researchers. Coordinators facilitate the teaching, scholarship, and service of full-time faculty, and support the activities of affiliated research centers and programs. This position involves serving as the Coordinator for the Columbia Law School Mindfulness Program, in addition to supporting several faculty members.
High School Diploma or its equivalent required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent strongly preferred. Minimum of three years ' related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Background or interest in mindfulness is preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Ability to work creatively and independently is necessary. Must be adaptable in learning and implementing new technologies as needed for maximizing task performance. Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and work well under pressure, managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a high volume operation. Excellent oral and written communication skills essential. Tact and diplomacy and the ability to exercise judgment in matters that are sensitive and confidential required. Must be able to work with diverse constituencies and support an inclusive work environment.
