About the Role Marathon Pipe Line (MPL) is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and collaborative professional to join the Strategic Planning, Training & Development team as a Coordinating Analyst. This role serves as a key partner in supporting employee engagement, organizational culture, strategic planning, leadership events, records management, and business communications. The Coordinating Analyst helps drive organizational effectiveness by managing employee engagement initiatives, analyzing feedback and performance data, coordinating leadership and employee events, and providing administrative and analytical support for strategic planning activities. This position works closely with business leaders, Human Resources, Learning & Development, and subject matter experts to ensure initiatives align with MPL's business objectives and cultural priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Engagement & Culture
    Lead coordination and execution of employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback programs.
    Analyze employee feedback, survey results, and employee-submitted topics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.
    Support and coordinate MPL culture programs, onboarding experiences, and employee engagement events.
    Partner with HR and leadership teams to align engagement activities with business priorities and organizational values.
    Develop recommendations that improve employee experience, engagement effectiveness, and organizational culture.
  • Strategic Planning & Business Support
    Provide data analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
    Prepare materials, presentations, briefing documents, and logistics for leadership meetings and planning sessions.
    Support development, tracking, and communication of strategic objectives and initiatives.
  • Event & Conference Coordination
    Coordinate leadership conferences, employee meetings, workshops, and engagement sessions.
    Manage meeting logistics, scheduling, travel arrangements, itineraries, communications, and supporting materials.
    Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure successful execution of events.
    Support preparation of management teams and presenters for employee engagement activities.
  • Analysis & Continuous Improvement
    Evaluate the effectiveness of engagement programs and recommend improvements.
    Develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
    Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.
  • Records Management & Governance
    Serve as a liaison between business partners and Records Coordinators.
    Assist with records management processes, retention requirements, labeling, storage, and compliance activities.
    Support adherence to corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and business governance standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's degree required.
  • Two (2) years of related experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Communications, Training & Development, or related discipline.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement, strategic planning, learning and development, culture initiatives, or organizational effectiveness programs.
  • Experience coordinating large-scale meetings, conferences, or workforce initiatives.
  • Familiarity with survey tools, dashboard reporting, Power BI, or workforce analytics.
  • Records management experience.

Travel requirement is up to 30%.

A valid driver's license is required.
