All Flex Solutions in Minneapolis, MN seeks a skilled inspector to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T, verifying parts with CMM software and precision hand tools. You will support SPC and QA processes, ensuring measurements are accurate and defects are detected early.

Qualifications

Job description

• Blueprint Reading & GD&T: The ability to read engineering drawings and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (such as ASME Y14.5 standards for true position, runout, and surface profiles).
• CMM Software Proficiency: Experience using industry-standard measurement and programming software.
• CAD Familiarity: Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design systems to help build and verify measurement programs.
• Precision Hand Tools: Skill in using traditional physical measurement instruments like micrometers, height gauges, and calipers.
• Quality Control & SPC: Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality assurance sampling plans to track and record variation.
• Attention to Detail: Crucial for spotting tiny manufacturing flaws or measurement errors.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data output from the machine and troubleshoot reasons for part failure or deviation.
• Communication: Clear reporting of inspection results
