Performance Foodservice is seeking an on-site Transportation Coordinator to support the delivery team and ensure drivers have accurate routing and scheduling information.

You will coordinate driver processes, handle routine inquiries, maintain DOT files, and assist with payroll data entry. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and reliable on-site presence to keep delivery operations running smoothly.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of transportation experience.
• Experience with basic math and data entry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations; pass post‑offer drug test and background check.

Responsabilidades

• Track, calculate, and coordinate driver and route information; perform driver check‑in.
• Answer and coordinate incoming transportation related phone calls.
• Maintain and track all DOT required files and other reports (vehicle inspection, fuel, mileage).
• Track, input, and process driver payroll data; perform related duties as assigned.

Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers’ products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers!
As a Coordinator, Transportation, you will play a vital role in ensuring our drivers is equipped with the information needed to deliver all products on time and safely. The Coordinator, Transportation supports the transportation team in improving production processes and maintaining daily business. This includes tracking, calculating, and coordinating a variety of driver and route information along with performing administrative tasks. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED
6+ months in a transportation environment
Administrative support performing basic math and computer data entry skills Knowledge and understanding of Department of Transportation regulations
