Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Coordinator, Healthcare Information Management to support the release of information team. The role covers ROI, Audit and Home Health areas, producing monthly productivity stats and KPI metrics, coordinating access, and assisting privacy investigations.

Typical schedule is 8 am-4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and candidates must reside in MO or IL. The position emphasizes collaboration across disclosures, coding practices, and quality reviews to optimize reimbursement

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Associate's Degree or higher preferred for HIM track.

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Coordinator, Healthcare Information Mgmt for our release of information team!

  • Coordinates daily operations for ROI, Audit and Home Health areas of Disclosure Management workstream to provide timely and quality services to all internal and external customers
  • Produces Monthly Productivity statistics and KPI Metrics for ROI, Audit and Home Health areas
  • Coordinates all computer access and equipment ordering for Disclosure Management Team and Vendor
  • Assists in the coordination of privacy investigations
  • Support policies, procedures and workflows for creation and maintenance for HIM Disclosure Management areas
  • Coordination of Disclosure Management inventory and ordering of supplies
  • Assistance with creation and revision of ROI Policy and Procedures
  • 8 am-4:30 pm M-F

Develop, maintain, and coordinate diagnosis and procedure coding practices for the purpose of coding correct and optimizing reimbursement.
