Good Samaritan Hospital - San Jose, CA is seeking an EEG Technician to join the Neurodiagnostic Laboratory. Under supervision, you will train staff, review quality of EEG work, and orient new employees in neurodiagnostic procedures.

The role requires an accredited END program, 120 EEG cases experience, registration eligibility, and ACLS/BLS certification; acute care experience 3-5 years preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered EEG Technician or eligible for registration; 120+ EEG cases required.
• B.A./B.S. preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certification current.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Under general supervision, and according to general policies and procedures, the Coordinator-Neurodiagnostic Laboratory performs as an EEG Technician, and is responsible for orienting new staff, reviewing technical quality of work performed and training staff in new Neurodiagnostic procedures as directed by the department manager.

What qualifications you will need:

• Completion of accredited END program preferred.
• B.A. / B.S. preferred
• Registered EEG Technician or eligible for registration by the American Board of Registered or experience as an EEG tech with a minimum of 120 completed EEG cases required
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course
• Experience in acute care setting required, 3-5 years strongly preferred.
