Job summary

CASA of Oregon seeks an experienced MHCDC Technical Assistance Manager to oversee post-purchase activities in our resident-owned communities and provide timely technical guidance to cooperatives on compliance and operations. The role requires extensive statewide travel and occasional weeknights or weekends.

The position is exempt, full-time, and hybrid, reporting to the MHCDC Senior TA Manager. Salary range $67,671–$90,070 with union representation by CWA Local 7901.

Qualifications

• AA in accounting, housing, planning, organizational development, business, or related field preferred.
• Experience leading or working with boards and cooperatives; education can be substituted.
• 1–3 years’ experience in property management, affordable housing development or asset management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee post-purchase activities in manufactured housing communities and ensure timely technical assistance.
• Guide cooperatives on compliance issues and governance.
• Travel statewide to meetings, including evenings.
• Facilitate board leadership development and monthly meetings with topics on governance and responsibilities.
• Assist with annual operating budgets and capital improvement plans.
• Monitor lender requirements, financing documents, and regulatory reporting.
