Job summary

Hunton Services is seeking a Cooling Tower Technician to inspect, maintain, and service cooling towers and related equipment at customer facilities. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on mechanical work, and accurate documentation of service findings.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, component replacement, and clear communication with customers and team members. Outdoor work, heights, and travel to customer sites are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to use common hand and power tools.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and basic mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cooling towers and related components (basins, fans, motors, gearboxes, belts, bearings, shafts, nozzles, fill media, drift eliminators, louvers).
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, alignment, adjustments, and repairs per manufacturer specs.
• Troubleshoot vibration, noise, leaks, and water distribution issues.
• Replace or repair tower components as assigned.
• Complete service reports, time records, and repair recommendations accurately.
