Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers is seeking a detail‑oriented Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician to perform thorough power washing and cleaning of towers and water storage tanks across the Northeast.

This on‑site role requires early starts, travel to customer sites in Maine, New York, New Hampshire and Vermont, and strict adherence to safety procedures while delivering high‑quality service to protect assets and public health.

Qualifications

• Experience power washing or industrial cleaning is required.
• Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across the Northeast and adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks using power washing equipment and approved methods.
• Operate power washers safely with appropriate spray heads and pressures.
• Assist with pre- and post-cleaning activities including system preparation and clean-up.
• Follow supervisor instructions to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Complete safety documentation including Job Hazard Analyses and daily paperwork.
• Adhere to all safety policies and PPE/chemical handling procedures.
• Read and apply information from Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS).
• Maintain professional conduct and represent the company at client sites.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
