Job summary

Diversified Services Network in Mossville, IL is seeking a Cooling Systems Simulation Engineer. The role focuses on 1-D sizing and CFD validation for cooling systems across engines and electrification platforms, with collaboration across design and validation teams.

The candidate will develop and validate 1-D and CFD models, sizing components, and improving simulation workflows to meet program timelines. Strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Agricultural, Aerospace, or similar) with 2+ years experience OR
• Master's or Doctorate with 1+ year experience in cooling system performance
• Experience with 1-D and CFD system simulation for product development
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Project management skills to handle multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Conduct cooling system analysis projects, sizing components using 1-D tools
• Perform CFD analysis on pumps, radiators, and aftercoolers
• Develop CFD models to understand airflow and underhood temperatures
• Collaborate with design partners to meet requirements
• Collaborate with test engineers to correlate models to tests
• Communicate results and propose design improvements
• Perform root-cause analysis for cooling-related field issues
• Contribute to improvements in simulation methods and tools
• Help establish technical requirements for new products
