Job summary

dfa is seeking a Cooler Manager to lead cooler and warehouse operations in our dairy production facility. You will oversee inventory accuracy, ensure proper product rotation based on shelf life, and supervise the safe and efficient movement of finished products.

You will collaborate with Production, Distribution, Sales, Customer Service and Quality teams to ensure products are stored, rotated, and shipped accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising warehouse or cooler operations in food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cooler and warehouse operations to maximize productivity and safety.
• Monitor inventory, expiration dates, and product rotation for traceability.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and load-out activities for timeliness.
• Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records, including damages.
• Develop and coach cooler and warehouse staff; drive engagement.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, OSHA, and QA standards.
• Control department costs related to labor, shrink, and cooler waste.
• Investigate incidents and promote a strong safety culture.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Serve as liaison between plant management and cross-functional teams.
