Job summary

Meadow Gold Dairy in Las Vegas is seeking warehouse operators to perform picking, pulling, building orders, and palletizing products. You will load/unload, stage materials, and operate equipment within a cool environment maintained at 35–40°F.

The role requires forklift certification, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings. Shift schedule includes several evenings and weekends with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Must stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend for most of shift.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and move cases up to 6-8 high.
• Must work in a 35-40°F environment; wet conditions.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Minimum six months forklift experience in high-efficiency environment.
• Minimum six months experience in manufacturing environment.
• Must have forklift operator’s certification.
• Must pass written and driving forklift skills test.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our Meadow Gold Dairy/Las Vegas facility has immediate an job opening for fast paced and motivated warehouse operators to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally, warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock environment.

Shift

• Sunday: 10:00am - 6:30pm
• Monday: 3:30pm - 12:00am
• Wednesday: 3:30pm - 12:00am
• Thursday: 3:30pm - 12:00am
• Friday: 10:00am - 6:30pm

Days Off: Tuesday and Saturday

Shift may vary based on business needs.

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
• Minimum six months experience in operating a forklift in a high efficiency environment
• Minimum six months experience related to manufacturing environment
• Must have forklift operator’s certification
• Must be able to pass a written and driving forklift skills test
