Job summary

Air Fayre Ca Inc is hiring for an on-site role at Gardena, CA, supporting catering operations at LAX. The job combines aircraft catering with driving responsibilities and requires flexibility for weekends and all three shifts.

You will assist in catering, maneuver around the aircraft, load/unload, and possibly perform pre-trip checks. Training and certifications will be provided; physical endurance and full airport access are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 24 years old.
• Able to work in a physical environment and outdoors.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Must obtain required airport credentials (Custom's Seal and Drivers RAD).

Responsibilities

• Assist CSR in catering aircraft and guide to aircraft safely.
• Walk the length of the aircraft and position chocks.
• Unload from truck and operate/board the vehicle as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections as directed and drive to aircraft when required.
• Maintain airport documentation and participate in 24/7 scheduling.

Full Time GARDENA, CA, US

We are hiring airline catering professionals to support aircraft catering operations at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) . This position is primarily focused on catering aircraft, with driving responsibilities as needed.

• 80% Aircraft Catering / 20% Driving
• Pay: $30.01 - $32.65 per hour
• Schedule: Must be available for weekends and holidays
• Requirement: Ability to operate a Class B refrigerated truck

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting Customer Service Representative (CSR) in catering aircraft
• Guides CSR to aircraft safely and accurately; this will require walking the length of the aircraft multiple times per day
• Pick up and placement of chocks as you make your way around the aircraft
• Must be comfortable maneuvering onto/off truck to unload
• May be required to complete pre-trip truck inspection as directed
• May be asked to drive to the aircraft and exchange old equipment with new
• Maintain any airport required documentation that includes the Badge Office and Customs & Border Protection (USCBP) We will provide all training and certifications needed.
• Must be flexible and open to working weekends and all three shifts - 24/7 operation
• Majority of duties performed outside in all weather conditions and aircraft noise
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to work at heights up to 25 feet or more depending upon aircraft

Requirements:

• Recent 6 months of driving experience (recommended) Not necessary
• Acceptable driving record- Must be approved by insurance carrier
• Medical certificate required and must be able to obtain a Custom's Seal and Drivers RAD Icon
• Must be comfortable working in a physical environment
• Must be at least 24 years old
