Job summary

Priority Management is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare and serve meals for residents at Victoria Gardens of Frisco, Frisco, TX. The role focuses on safe food handling, accurate meal service, and maintaining nutritional standards in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years in a large-scale kitchen, and preferred experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Two years as cook in a large-scale cooking operation, preferred.
• One year's work experience in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to the menu.
• Monitor methods of food handling, preparation, meal service and equipment cleaning.

Position Description:

Responsible for preparing and serving meals according to the menu, monitoring methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning. Safely and efficiently provides nutritionally appropriate food to residents for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their overall health. Ensures the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance to Federal, State and Local regulations.
