Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is interviewing for Cookie Crew at our Babylon, NY location (51-59 Deer Park Ave, Babylon, NY 11702). You will greet guests, take orders, bake cookies, and ensure warm, correct deliveries. Daily pay options, sick time, and pet insurance are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role.
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Customer service focused and a willingness to exceed guest expectations.
• Great communication, organizational and math skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure.
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy.
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone.
• Bake cookies to perfection and scoop ice cream as needed.
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out.
• Handle cash and payments accurately with no shortages or overages.
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery.
• Other duties as assigned.
