Insomnia Cookies in Hartford, CT is seeking a part-time Cookie Crew member for our brand-new location at 247 Asylum St. Join a fast-growing late-night bakery and help create a memorable guest experience with warm cookies and friendly service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, explaining the menu, baking cookies, scooping ice cream, packaging orders, handling cash, and keeping the bakery clean. Must be 18+ and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service role (preferred).
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Customer service focus and willingness to exceed guest expectations.
• Great communication, organizational and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the store and take orders according to procedure.
• Help customers understand menu items and ensure accuracy of orders.
• Provide warm, friendly service in person and over the phone.
• Bake cookies to order and scoop ice cream as needed.
• Package and deliver fast, warm orders and handle cash accurately.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain the bakery.

Insomnia Cookies is one of the fastest growing, late-night, sweet indulgence companies in the country, and at the present time, we are actively interviewing Cookie Crew for our brand new Hartford CT location! This brand new bakery will be located at 247 Asylum St, Hartford, CT06103.

WHAT ELSE WILL I DO AS A MEMBER OF THE COOKIE CREW?

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection & a scoop of ice cream
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role - preferred
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor
• Customer service focused and a willingness to exceed guest expectations
• Great communication, organizational and math skills
• Must be able to lift up to 40lb boxes of product
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
