Qualifications

• Able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Safely handle kitchen utensils and food preparation tools.

Responsibilities

• Cook nutritious meals using standardized recipes and NSL guidelines.
• Assist with planning daily menus and meal rotations for variety.
• Prepare and serve meals on time to ensure consistent dining.
• Maintain organized food storage, prep areas, and kitchen supplies.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
• Assist with accurate meal counts, documentation, and records.
• Be a team player and support the kitchen staff as needed.
