Tumbleweed Tex Mex Grill & MargaritaBar is actively seeking a Cook to join our team. The role offers a flexible work schedule and compensation ranging from $11–$14 per hour, plus a variety of benefits including health care, paid time off, a 401(k) and Roth plans, holidays off, formal training, recognition programs, and discounted meals.

Eligibility applies. Responsibilities include overseeing food prep, ensuring HACCP compliance, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations

Responsibilities

• Monitor the preparation of all food products to ensure they meet food safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and supply food items to the cook's line.
• Prepare foods using the prep list to ensure fresh product.
• Maintain proper grill heat levels for cooking surface.
• Complete HACCP accurately and notify a manager when items are not correct.
• Prepare product tags and stock items for designated work area.
• Prepare foods to specifications.
• Ensure a steady flow of products to reach expo with no production delays.
• Monitor the flow of supplies to the line to prevent delays in production.
• Maintain Tumbleweed standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
• Know all menu items, ingredients and portions thoroughly.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow rotation, cleanliness, storage and use guidelines for food.
