Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food items with the highest quality.
• Prepares meals per planned menus.
• Checks storage areas daily to ensure proper food rotation.
• Supervises production staff to maintain an efficient department.
• Coordinates with other departments to meet residents' needs.
• Prepares food following sanitary regulations and our policies.
• Demonstrates courtesy toward staff, residents and visitors.
• Works with staff to ensure a cohesive work environment.
• Able to work with little supervision.
