Job summary

Vacaville Senior Living in Vacaville, CA is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare meals that meet residents' nutritional needs in a compassionate, team-oriented environment. You will follow portion control standards, serve meals in the dining area, and assist with delivering trays to rooms while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma (preferred), ServSafe or food handler's card, and experience in food preparation in a facility or restaurant.

Qualifications

• Cook experience in a facility, nursing home, or restaurant preferred.
• ServSafe certification or Food handler's card required.
• Experience with food preparation and nutrition.
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
