Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals as indicated on planned menus using standardized portions and substitutions.
• Ensures meals are served at scheduled times and plans food prep tasks accordingly.
• Follows cleaning schedules to maintain sanitary kitchen and food service areas.
• Keeps track of resident, staff, and guest meals according to procedures.
• Reports problems or issues to the Director of Food Service or Executive Director.

The Cook prepares and serves nutritious, attractive meals and maintains the cleanliness of the food production and service areas.
