Job summary

LCB Senior Living, LLC is hiring a Cook at The Residence at Basking Ridge to support daily dining services for residents. The position offers per diem scheduling and a competitive hourly wage.

You will work with the Culinary Services team to prepare meals, maintain kitchen safety, and contribute to enhanced dining experiences for residents. Responsibilities include following recipes, assisting with supervision, and helping with events and themed meals while ensuring cleanliness and food safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years cook experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Serve Safe Certification required or preferred.
• Able to read and follow recipes and production guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Assist with supervision of culinary staff and execution of dining programs.
• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus.
• Maintain kitchen and food storage areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Open/close the kitchen and follow cleaning schedules.
• Ensure proper temperatures and safe handling of food.
• Assist with events, banquets, and theme meals.
