Join the team at The Hotel Hershey, a luxury resort known for its elegance, signature services, and amenities. Located high above Hershey, it features 276 guest rooms, including 10 Villas with 48 luxury rooms, and 25,000 sq ft of meeting space. The historic 1930s hotel is an American Historic Hotel and a AAA Four-Diamond recipient.

As a Full-Time Cook, you'll prepare meals in one of our 6 restaurants or event spaces. Candidates should have general culinary knowledge, knife skills, and basic understanding of a la carte and production cooking. A positive attitude, professional appearance, and demeanor are essential. Apply and interview today!

Qualifications
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • At least 1 year of cooking experience or current culinary role in a restaurant, hotel, or club
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Complete a 3-course mystery basket cooking test in 4 hours
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, knife skills, and a full toolkit
  • Understanding of weights, measures, and basic math
  • Ability to train and lead culinary interns and cooks
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Skilled in at least two cuisines (e.g., Asian, Italian, Classical, New American, Mexican); complete a 3-course mystery basket test
  • ServSafe certification required
