NC Office of State Human Resources, located at Raleigh, NC, seeks a Cook (S) for Temporary Solutions. This temporary role has two shifts: 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., at 3318 Garner Road, Wake County, within the NC State Highway Patrol.

Minimum education and experience: one year in food preparation, or an equivalent combination; duties include cooking, cleaning, dishwashing, stocking and serving lines. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).
