Job summary

Active Generations in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks a full-time cook to support preparation, cooking, and service of high-quality meals for programs, members, guests, and events. You will work across kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation, cooking, portioning, plating, food storage, and cleanup.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum one year of kitchen, food preparation, cooking, or related experience preferred.
• Catering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, cook, and portion menu items per recipes.
• Maintain clean, organized stations and follow food safety guidelines.
• Assist with daily meals, catering, and events.
• Coordinate with kitchen team to meet service timelines.
• Label, store, and rotate food products properly.
• Provide courteous service to Active Generations members and guests.
