Job summary

Guiding Hands in Texas is seeking a preschool cook to prepare healthy meals for children and assist with classroom coverage as needed. You will work with teachers to deliver snacks and lunches on schedule and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.

The role requires a high school diploma and prior preschool experience; you will be energetic, nurturing, and a team player who communicates effectively with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, healthy menu items and deliver to classrooms according to snack and lunch schedules.

• Coordinate with teachers and leadership teams through ongoing communication.
• Engage with families daily to provide positive information and support.
• Support and uphold childcare licensing standards.

Job Summary

As a Cook at Guiding Hands, you’ll help prepare meals for our little ones. As a support staff, you will tend to children's needs as they arise. You will cover teacher's classes as the teacher has not arrived for the day, has left for the day or is on lunch break.
