Job summary

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is seeking an experienced Cook Supervisor for full-time placement in a healthcare setting. You will prepare meals per recipes, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure safety and quality standards in a nursing/home care facility.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ServSafe certification preferred, and at least one year of large-scale cooking experience in nursing homes, hospitals, or senior living environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification preferred or will become certified after hire.
• Minimum one year experience in large-scale cooking.
• 1 year Nursing Home, Senior Living, Hospital, or Healthcare Required!

Responsibilities

• Prepares food according to standardized recipes to provide residents with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlines standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Tastes all prepared food items for quality control.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintain standards of cleanliness.
• Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Will manage the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
