• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK SUPERVISOR positions.
• Location: Charleston Place - 205 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29401. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Directly supervises food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Advises management on purchasing requirements, focusing on minimizing waste and avoiding shortages.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment according to procedures.
• Stores, labels, and dates food items; maintains food rotation to minimize spoilage.
• Follows HACCP guidelines for food safety and quality.
• Operates food-service equipment safely and according to policies.
• Helps serve meals; remains present during meal periods to receive feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
