Morningstar Living is hiring a Full-Time Cook Supervisor for the Moravian Hall Square Campus in Nazareth, PA. The shift runs 11:30 am–8:00 pm with benefits including medical, dental, and vision, plus every-other-weekend and holiday rotation.

As Cook Supervisor, you oversee the main kitchen, ensure quality production and recipe adherence, complete HACCP documentation, supervise prep cooks and utility staff, and serve residents with courteous, safe meals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of cooking experience, preferably in batch cooking.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Dependable, consistent, and team‑oriented.
• Ability to interact positively with residents and coworkers.
• Strong self‑direction in management of time, work, and related activities.
• Ability to enforce policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and serve residents safely and courteously.
• Ensure the quality and quantity of food prepared and served.
• Supervise, train, and support team members by overseeing onboarding, coaching, performance evaluations, disciplinary processes, and adherence to service and uniform standards.
• Conduct daily culinary service meetings with main kitchen culinary staff, HC and PC supervisors.

About the Cook Supervisor Role

The Main Kitchen Cook Supervisor must be attentive to the overall operation of the Main Kitchen. Responsibilities include correct food production techniques, adherence to established recipes, food presentation and quality, completion of HACCP documentation, cleaning checklists, safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance during their shift. The Cook Supervisor prepares and serves food to residents, and supervises all prep cooks and utility personnel.
